Jared Mietzner is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional who serves his clients with integrity and a clear commitment to their best interests. Over the course of his career, Jared has worked at several nationally recognized financial firms. These experiences gave him a close-up understanding of how financial institutions operate, including the incentives that may not always align with what is best for clients.

That experience led him to establish Mietzner Wealth Management, LLC, an independent firm built around transparency, objectivity, and personal attention. Jared specializes in retirement income strategies, investment planning, and long-term financial coordination. His clients know they are getting honest advice without hidden agendas.

A Global Perspective, Rooted in Service

Jared grew up in Iowa and spent years on active duty in the U.S. Army. His time in the military allowed him to travel widely and experience cultures across the world. That exposure gave him a deep appreciation for diversity, which played a major role in his decision to settle in the Bay Area.

Today, he lives in the Bay Area with his two sons. He values the richness of the community and the opportunities it offers for his family. Jared speaks both Portuguese and Mandarin Chinese, and he brings a global mindset to his work with clients of all backgrounds.

Military and Community Commitment

As a Navy Reservist, Jared continues to serve the country while also working to support his local community. He volunteers with the Navy League and the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), two organizations that advocate for the well-being of service members, veterans, and their families.

Jared's commitment to these causes comes from personal experience. He has seen many veterans overlooked or underserved and is driven to help fill that gap. His values are shaped by a strong sense of duty, both in uniform and in his professional life.
